Lanka Premier League: Sri Lanka Cricket Board announced the schedule for Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2023. The tournament consists of five teams and will begin on July 30 and the Final will be played on August 20. 

Defending champion Jaffna Kings will take on Colombo strikers in the opening match at R.Premdasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo. A total of 24 matches will be played in the entire session of which the first few matches would be organised in Colombo then some matches will be played in Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Candi.
