Smriti Mandhana recently posted on her social media handle Instagram since the postponement of her wedding with Palash Muchhal which was supposed to be on November 23. The wedding festivities came to an abrupt halt when Smriti’s father Srinivas fell ill and was immediately taken to the hospital in their hometown – Sangli. Just a day later, Palash Muchhal also fell ill and was taken to the hospital. Both have since recovered and been discharged, but the families have yet to announce a new wedding date.
On Friday, Smriti posted on Instagram promoting a leading toothpaste brand in a paid partnership. However, what gained attention was the absence of engagement ring on her finger which sparked many speculations among fans. Some people speculated that Smriti might have filmed the ad before her wedding while others thought that something is definitely wrong.

Family members from both the sides have opened up about the delay and it was solely due to health issues. Palash’s mother and sister also expressed their sadness over the delay and hoped for things to get better and on track soon.

Smriti Mandhana recently won the ODI World Cup and following the win she decided to marry Palash Muchhal. Palash also proposed her in the most dreamy way and the wedding festivities also were underway but the sudden halt has gained a lot of speculations.
