India’s T20I opener Abhishek Sharma has once again scripted history with his outstanding knock in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He smashed a century in just 32 balls in match against Bengal, his knock included 11 sixes and 7 fours. Abhishek wrecked havoc on field and reached fifty in just 12 balls – a feat which is also achieved by his mentor Yuvraj Singh in T20 World Cup 2007.

This is also the fourth fastest T20I century after Urvil Patel who sits at second and third position with century in 28 and 31 balls. On the first position is Abhishek Sharma himself who smashed a 28 ball century earlier against Meghalaya in 2024.
