The Asia Cup 2025 will be concluding soon and the tournament will witness India-Pakistan final for the first time. The two arch-rivals will be playing against each other on September 28 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Pakistan won the match against Bangladesh to secure their spot in the final. Pakistan suffered a catastrophic batting collapse, trailing at 71 for 6 in 13.3 overs. Mohammad Haris came to the rescue by scoring 31 off 23 deliveries, guiding the team to 135 for 8. After the match, Pakistan skipper Salman Ali Agha could lauded his bowling side and also said that their team is good enough to beat anyone.

“The way we bowled up front, we will create pressure. We bowled well with the new ball. More often than not you will win games if you bowl like this,” Salman Ali Agha said
“Shaheen is a special player. He does what the team needs of him. Very happy for him.”
“We are a good enough team to beat anyone. We will come back on Sunday and try and do that,” he added.
“If you win these kinds of games, then we must be a special team. Everyone played really well. There is some improvement needed in batting. But we will work on that,” he said.
In the virtual semi-final. Pakistan bowlers stepped up, defended the humble target of 135, ultimately emerging as winners. Bangladesh, as much as they fought, were dismissed for 124 for 9 in 20 overs. This paves way for a historic Asia Cup final, a first-ever championship clash between India and Pakistan in the history of the event that is 41 years old.
