Mumbai Indians played against Rajasthan Royals and delivered a dominant performance at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. They won by 100 runs and reached at the top of IPL points table, this also marked MI’s 6 consecutive victory in IPL 2025.
One thing that gained a lot of attention was a touching gesture of Rohit Sharma as he approached 14-year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi after the game and offered him comforting words. Earlier in match against Gujarat Titans, Suryavanshi samshed a dashing century in just 35 balls and became the talk of town but against Mumbai he was dismissed for a duck by Deepak Chahar.

All the MI players went and appreciated Vaibhav for his heroics in last match against Gujarat Titans.
“Every MI player went past him had a couple of words to say. You don’t need those kind of players everyday. 14-year-old, scoring a hundred. Today, he got out on 0, but such is the game. That’s what he will learn,” said Shastri.
