Poor Recent form

Rohit Sharma's form in the red-ball format has been concerning for a long time. In the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 edition, he failed miserably by making just 35 runs in his appearance. Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul started the innings. After the second Test, he chose to move down the batting order before resuming his opening spot for Melbourne’s Boxing Day game, then decided not to play in Sydney.
