Rinku Singh was born on October 12, 1997, into a middle-class family of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. Since he was the second child in his family of five siblings, it was a pretty challenging childhood period for him. His father Khanchander Singh was the distributor of LPG cylinders; the family did not have the best of amenities, but what they had was near Aligarh Stadium, a place that started to breed cricket in him. It was actually the surrounding environment of the stadium that motivated him to take up the sport as a full-time career.
Early Cricket Career And Rise To Fame
Rinku Singh started his cricketing career at a very young age, playing for Uttar Pradesh in all age groups from Under-16 to Under-23. He made his List A debut in 2014 when he was just 16 years old. However, it was during the 2018–19 Ranji season that Rinku actually gained much attention with 953 runs.

IPL Debut And Success
Rinku made his IPL debut with the Kings XI Punjab in the year 2017 and then joined Kolkata Knight Riders. It was only in 2023 that he turned out to be a fantastic batter who could bring surprise victory to his team after hitting consecutive sixes off the last five balls. Rinku became one of the greatest players the IPL has ever seen.
In IPL, Singh has overall scored 893 runs in 46 matches.
