Former Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin has retired from Indian Premier League (IPL). The legendary off-spinner announced about this development with a post on X (formerly Twitter). The 39-year old was a part of the Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2025 and was brought in for INR 9.75 crore.

Recently, Ashwin also retired from international cricket during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 and he has now left the IPL as well, but he mentioned that he will be playing different leagues now.
