New Delhi: India and Bangladesh fought in a tense game on Wednesday. It was a hard fought game that gave many moments filled with tensions.

Put to bat first, India had put 184 runs on board and the tensions began when Bangladesh stormed in the chase with huge momentum. Rain poured in and stop the play when Litton Das was making his way towards win.

After rain, India clinched wickets after wickets and ended up winning the game by 5 runs.

This tensions between India and Bangladesh on Wednesday made Ravi Shastri reminisce their clash in 2016 T20 World Cup. India had give the target of 147 runs and Bangladesh needed just 11 runs on last over.

The tensions rose when Bangladesh garnered 9 runs off first balls of last over. Hardik Pandya was the bowler and to level it, he took two wickets in next two balls. The situation had come to Bangladesh needing 3 runs off last ball. On the last ball, MS Dhoni did a run out to make India win by 1 run.

“I went to toilet,” Ravi Shastri

Recalling this incident, Ravi Shastri said that he couldn’t handle that tensions and he went to the toilet.

“I saw [MS] Dhoni give the ball to Hardik [Pandya]. I went to the toilet. I wasn’t going to face the tension. They had gathered the players in the balcony as they only needed three runs or whatever. I went to the toilet”,”Shastri in conversation with Star Sports.
