Why Is Rishabh Pant Not Captaining Delhi?

Rishabh Pant did not get a chance in Team India for the five-match T20 series against England. After which Pant is now going to play in the Ranji Trophy. Pant last played a Ranji match in the year 2018. Pant was also offered captaincy by DDCA. According to the report of Cric Blogger, Pant refused to captain Delhi because he does not know the players in this team much. Pant has little knowledge about the capabilities of the players in the team and the ecosystem of the team. However, Pant will help the team captain Ayush Badoni in every possible way. In the second phase of Ranji Trophy, Delhi will face Saurashtra on 23 January.
