The year 2025 has turned out to be absolutely dreamy for Rajat Patidar as the batter from Madhya Pradesh has shown immense consistency across formats and also stepped up as a leader that has helped his team win titles.
Patidar first made headlines earlier this year in June when he guided Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) towards its maiden IPL win, ending 18 years of heartbreak and struggle. Not only as a captain but as a batter he made signification contribution for his time and amassed 312 runs in 15 matches with an average of 24.00. His tactical captaincy and decision making skills proved to be very beneficial for RCB.

Recently, he was also announced as the India A captain for one ODI match against Australia. He earned his position back into the team due to his stellar performances that he has been delivering consistently.
Adding to his accolades, Patidar has now won the Duleep Trophy title as he guided Central Zone towards victory over the South Zone. His leadership was instrumental throughout the tournament and the win marked an end to 11-years of trophy drought for the Central Zone. With the domestic season now approaching close in October, all eyes will be on Rajat Patidar as he continues his dream run in 2025.
