The tensions are on a rise between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) after serious allegations of match fixing were raised by Jaideep Bihani, the convener of RCA’s ad hoc committee after RR lost against LSG by 2 runs. His comments have created a fiery response from the franchise, who have taken formal recourse by lodging complaints to Rajasthan Chief Minister, Sports Minister, and Sports Secretary, requesting the initiation of suitable action against Bihani for his “groundless allegations.”
Jaideep Bihani Accuses RR For Match Fixing
After the narrow loss, Jaideep Bihani, an MLA from Sri Ganganagar and convenor of the government-nominated ad hoc committee of the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA), made sensational revelations in an interview with News18 Rajasthan. Bihani wondered how a team could lose at home in such favorable circumstances and hinted indirectly at foul play, suggesting that the match could have been rigged.
Rajasthan Royals Demand Strict Action
Deep Roy, a senior RR official has issued a strong reply and described Bihani’s claim as “false, baseless and without evidence”. The Royals further emphasised on their long-term relationship with the state’s cricketing body and highlighted 18-year old legacy keeping in mind the strict BCCI protocols.

RR Terms Match Fixing Claims As Misleading
“We reject all allegations made by the convener of the ad hoc committee. Such public statements are not only misleading but have caused serious damage to the reputation and credibility of Rajasthan Royals, Royal Multi Sport Private Limited (RMPL), the Rajasthan Sports Council, and the BCCI. They also tarnish the integrity of cricket.” Rajasthan Royals management stated
