Shaw played his first match in Test cricket in 2018 and has so far made 5 appearances, scoring 339 runs with an average of 42.37, besides one century and two fifty. His last Test was in December 2020. In ODIs he has scored 189 from 6 matches at the average of 31.50. He has also taken part in one T20 International match but didn’t score any runs.
Shaw has also had a career in IPL. He scored 1892 runs in 79 matches with 14 half-centuries and a high score of 99 runs, and even set a record for hitting 6 fours in an over in the Indian Premier League. His play style is aggressive, scoring runs with the bat.
