Pakistan won the Hong Kong Sixes for the sixth times as they registered a 43 runs win against Kuwait in the final. The match was held at Mission Road Ground in Mong Kok in which Pakistan showed its dominance throughout. Pakistan narrowly edged past Australia by a single run before cruising comfortably in the title clash to reclaim the crown.
But one of the moments that caught spotlight was Pakistan cricketer named Muhammad Shahzad’s post match celebration. He copied Hardik Pandya’s iconic celebration which is – standing beside the trophy on the pitch with nonchalant shrug. Shahzad posted the image on social media and it went immediately went viral.
Shahzad, the leading wicket-taker for Pakistan in the tournament with seven dismissals, has been one of the most talked-about players in domestic cricket this year.

In the semi-final against Australia, Pakistan remained calm despite the match being extremely tough as it all boiled down to the last ball. Australia needed six in the last ball but they could only manage a boundary. In the Final, Pakistan showcased one sided dominance and Abbas Afridi smashed 11 ball fifty propelling Pakistan to a solid total of 132 runs. Kuwait in response failed under pressure their innings were piled up at 93 following which Pakistan registered a stunning win.
