Jasprit Bumrah Suffers Back Swelling

According to a report by The Indian Express, Jasprit Bumrah has swelling on his back and he will be reporting to National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru where his recovery will be observed.

But the Champions Trophy 2025 is already nearing and starting from February 19 and it has been reported that Jasprit Bumrah is likely to miss the group stage of the tournament due to injury.

Mohammed Shami’s Comeback After 14 Months

Mohammed Shami is all set to make a comeback in the Indian team as he will be playing the five-match T20I series against England which is starting from January 22. He last played for Team India in ODI World Cup 2023 since then his road to recovery has been extremely tough considering his long struggle with ankle and knee injuries.

Shami did not play the Border-Gavaskar Trophy because of swelling in his knee. He has been consistently playing domestic cricket to regain his fitness before regaining his spot in the national team.
