Yajuvendra Chahal: BCCI has announced India’s squad for the World Cup 2023. Spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has not got a place in the squad. After being dropped from Team India, now Yuji Chahal will show his spin magic abroad i.e. in England. He will play county cricket for Kent County Club. As per reports, he will announce the same soon.
Times of India reported that Chahal has decided to play county cricket after not being selected for Team India for the World Cup and he has received a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from BCCI. It is expected that Kent County Club can also make its official announcement soon.
Chahal said – busy preparing for return
In a conversation with TOI Chahal said that naturally, it is disappointing not to be induced in Team India. But, as a cricketer, we must accept that some things do not always go our way, I must continue to give my 100 percent effort and Hopefully, the performance will help in getting selected for India again.
Yuzvendra Chahal’s cricket career so far
Left-arm leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has single-handedly changed the course of the match on many occasions. He has played 72 ODI and 80 T20 matches so far for Team India. Chahal has taken 121 wickets in ODIs at an excellent average of 27.13, while in T20 he has 96 wickets at an average of 25.09.
