The 18th season of Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set to start from March 22, 2025 at the Eden Gardens with the first match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). The tournament will feature 10 teams with the final being scheduled on May 25, 2025. Before the match there will be IPL 2025 opening ceremony which will take place at 6:00 pm IST at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru have played 34 matches with KKR winning 20 of them. In the last five matches KKR has won four of them while RCB last defeated KKR in the IPL 2022 season.
