Jasprit Bumrah has achieved a new career milestone on Friday, October 10 as he became the first Indian bowler in the history to play atleast 50 matches in all the three international formats. The achievement came during India vs West Indies second Test which is currently ongoing at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
Bumrah has been exceptional and been the backbone of India’s bowling department. He made his Test debut in 2018 and since then he has emerged as one of the most lethal fast bowlers present in the team India. In white-ball cricket also he has been actively taking wickets and getting India crucial breakthroughs.
In the white-ball format, he has claimed 149 wickets in 89 ODIs and in the shortest format which is the T20I he has 96 wickets in 75 matches.
Bumrah has joined an elite club with this achievement, he now sits with legends like MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ravichandran Ashwin. It is also important to note that he is the first pacer from India to achieve this feat.
