India's star pacer Jasprit Bumrah suffered a back injury in the Sydney Test of Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 because of which he has been out of action and even missed the Champions Trophy 2025.
The Indian Premier League is nearing and it will be very crucial for the team that Jasprit Bumrah regains full fitness. Mumbai Indians will be playing their first match against arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings on March 23 which means there are only a few days left to confirm Jasprit Bumrah's availability.

"At the moment, everything is going well. But, obviously, it is on a day-to-day basis. He is in good spirits. Not having him is a challenge. He is one of the best bowlers in the world and he has been a fantastic pro for us for many years,” Jayawardena added during pre-tournament press-conference.
Jasprit Bumrah's Role Very Crucial
