Jasprit Bumrah gives sharp reply to Mohammad Kaif over social media comment on his fitness

Jasprit Bumrah has been named in India's squad for two-match Test series against West Indies which will be starting from October 2.

India’s premier fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has recently responded to a remark made by former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif regarding his workload and fitness. According to Kaif, Bumrah might be deliberately avoiding bowling in death overs to reduce the risk of injury.

He further wrote: “Bumrah under Rohit would generally bowl overs 1, 13, 17, 19. Under Surya, in Asia cup, he bowled a three-overs spell at the start. To avoid injury, Bumrah these days, prefers to bowl while his body is warmed up. 1 over of Bumrah in the remaining 14 overs is a huge relief for batters, against stronger teams at World Cup, this could hurt india.”
