Jasprit Bumrah has been the backbone of India’s pace department and in the first Test against England at Headingley he shattered multiple records with his incredible bowling spell. He became the first Asian bowler to reach 150 Test wickets in SENA Countries leaving behind the legendary players like Waqar Younis, Muttiah Muralitharan and Anil Kumble.
But this was not the only record he shattered, he now has the most number of five-wicket hauls for India in away Tests which now equals him with the legendary all-rounder Kapil Dev. He achieved the feat in just 64 innings while Kapil Dev took 108 innings to achieve it.

Jasprit Bumrah has displayed exceptional form in the first Test against England, he took a fifer and completely put pressure on England’s batting single-handedly. He resumed playing Test cricket after a short break which was due to the injury he sustained during the Sydney Test of Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Following this he has been on a path to recovery and to manage his workload, he has been on a path to recovery and will only be playing three-Tests in England tour.
