To hail his abilities and skills, Australia legendary cricketer Ricky Ponting said that he is one of the best player.
When Ponting was on-air while doing the commentary, he said, “He has led his team really well. The win in Australia in the Test series in Australia is amazing. Not sure I’ve seen a better white-ball cricketer ever. What he does in One-Day International cricket is unbelievable. His records are amazing.”
Virat Kohli back in form
Former India captain Virat Kohli is currently in brilliant form and will be aiming to heal the wound of last year. Earlier, he scored a century against Afghanistan in Asia Cup 2022.
In the warm-up game against Australia, India had beaten host country by 6 runs after on-point fielding of King Kohli. India had post 186 runs on board at the loss of 7 wickets while batting first.
When Aussies came on the field, Indian bowlers restricted them at 180 runs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar clinched two wickets while new addition to the team, Mohammad Shami got 3 wickets. Along with that, Arsdeep Singh, Harshal Patel and Yuzvendra Chahal had dismissed one player each.
