The retention list Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 will be announced on November 15 following which IPL has released official media advisory on the player trades which have taken place. A total of 8 players have been traded which includes big names like Ravindra Jadeja, Sanju Samson, Nitish Rana and many more.
The IPL has released an official media advisory and gave names of eight players that have been traded. Ahead of the IPL 2026 Retention Deadline, the franchises have agreed to the following player trades.

Ravindra Jadeja
The former CSK all-rounder will be joining Rajasthan Royals for the upcoming season of IPL. Initially his fee was INR 18 crore but it has been reduced to INR 14 crore. With 250 matches in his tenure of 12 seasons with CSK, Jadeja has been one of the match winners.
Sanju Samson
The former RR captain and wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson will now be a part of CSK. He has been acquired for INR 18 crore. Samson has played 177 matches in IPL and CSK will be the third franchise he will be playing for.
Sam Curran
England all-rounder Sam Curran will now be a part of Rajasthan Royals for INR 2.4 crore following a successful trade. The young batter has played 64 IPL matches, and RR will be his third franchise, having previously represented Punjab Kings in 2019, 2023 and 2024, and CSK in the other seasons.
Mohammed Shami
Veteran pacer Mohammed Shami will now be a part of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) after a successful trade from Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). He has been acquired for INR 10 crore and previously he has played for five franchises since making debut in 2013.
Mayank Markande
Leg-spinner Mayank Markande is now a part of Mumbai Indians (MI), following a successful trade from Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR and he has been acquired for a fee of INR 30 lakh. He has featured in 37 IPL matches, taking 37 wickets.
Arjun Tendulkar
Bowling all-rounder Arjun Tendulkar who was a part of Mumbai Indians earlier will now represent Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at his existing fee of INR 30 lakh. He was picked in 2021 and made his IPL debut for the franchise in 2023.
Nitish Rana
Left-handed batter Nitish Rana will now be a part of Delhi Capitals (DC) following a trade from Rajasthan Royals (RR). He will continue at his existing fee of INR 4.2 crore, Rana has featured in 100 games, captained Kolkata Knight Riders in 2023 when Shreyas Iyer was sidelined due to injury.
Donovan Ferreira
All-rounder Donovan Ferreira is back with Rajasthan Royals (RR), following a successful trade from Delhi Capitals (DC). As per the transfer agreement, his fee has been revised from INR 75 lakh to INR 1 crore.
