The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 auction will be held on December 16 in Abu Dhabi with all the franchises ready to fill up 77 spots which are left. Many franchises like the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have already retained their core group and there are not many spots which are left to be filled. KKR will now dominate the bidding war and they will likely to go big after Australian all-rounder Cameron Green who has been in IPL auction spotlight. He is already listed in the INR 2 crore category and he is one of the players all the franchises will be eyeing to bring in.
The Knights had a very average season in IPL 2025 and franchise will be looking to pick players who can bring stability. The team has already won three seasons – 2012, 2014, and 2024.
