List of top 5 uncapped Indian batters

1) Kartik Sharma – This 19-year-old wicketkeeper-batter, has gained more attention with Rajasthan’s advancement into the knockout stages from Elite group D. The young player has scored 133 runs in five matches at a strike rate exceeding 160 while working hard in the middle order. His being able to do both wicketkeeping and finishing the innings at the same time gives him the kind of versatility which is often sought by many IPL teams.

2) Kunal Chandela – This 31-year-old all-rounder was at his best during the SMAT. He hit a total of 350 runs in seven matches with a strike rate of 150.86 and due to his great performance recruiters will be looking at him with interest in the auction.

3) Anmolpreet Singh – This 27-year-old batter has showcased another very good domestic season. He scored 241 runs in seven matches at a strike rate of 172, and he is behind Abhishek Sharma n the tally of his team in SMAT. Anmolpreet had short IPL stints with SRH and MI in the past, but now he enters the 2026 auction in excellent form.

4) Mahipal Lomror – Mahipal Lomror, the uncapped Indian batter, is viewed as a bright prospect just before the mini-auction of IPL 2026. The all-rounder who hails from Rajasthan has a total of 527 runs in 40 IPL matches at a strike rate of 141.28 and more than 2100 T20 domestic runs, hence, he is the perfect choice for middle-order power-hitting among franchises.

5) Tushar Raheja – This player from Tamil Nadu, has got the right notice for his aggressive top-order batting. The southpaw has made 151 runs in seven SMAT matches with the help of a strike rate of 164. Besides this, he was the highest scorer in the 2025 Tamil Nadu Premier League scoring chart with a strike rate of 185. There are not many Indian wicketkeeper-batters with explosive qualities in this auction pool, thus Raheja might be a player that many teams would like to have in their squad.
