The Mega Auction for IPL 2025 is expected to be scheduled at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on 24 and 25 November. As stated by sources, all is well and set to move ahead with preparations. And then, BCCI would give a confirmation shortly.

When Will IPL Auction Be Held?

The problem is that the auction is scheduled at a time when India plays its first Test against Australia in Perth, from November 22 to 26. Disney Star, which has the broadcasting rights for both the IPL and the India-Australia Test series, would like to avoid any scheduling conflict. The good news is that the time difference with Australia might allow the auction to be held in the afternoon (IST), thus helping avoid direct clashes with the match broadcast.
