Yash Dayal to Stoinis, SIX, to deep mid-wicket

It was another struggle-filled night at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium for Royal Challengers Bengaluru as they fell to yet another home loss, this one against a clinical Punjab Kings team. Pursuing a modest total, PBKS made easy work of the run chase, winning a comprehensive 5-wicket game with 11 deliveries to spare.

The last nail in the coffin came in style, Marcus Stoinis hitting a full delivery from Yash Dayal over deep mid-wicket for six to seal the victory in style. RCB bowlers found it hard to keep Punjab’s batting line-up in check, who appeared to be in charge for most of the game.
Though the pitch gave some support to the bowlers in the early stages, RCB did not make the most of crucial moments and again were unable to defend a total on home soil. Punjab’s strict bowling at the beginning of the match had set the stage, limiting RCB to a sub-par score.
With this outcome, PBKS not only pick up valuable away points but also gather steam as the tournament reaches the halfway mark. Meanwhile, RCB will have to return to the drawing board as their home struggles continue to upset their campaign.

We have to be smart in adapting to the conditions, we'll try our best. A bit sticky, but the surface looks hard, we will put up a good total on the board. Same team.
It's a good ground to chase and it's a rain interrupted game, overs have been reduced, will have a fair idea of how the wickert will play and that was always the pln. Stoinis comes in for Maxwell and Harpreet Brar is in. We need to have the right players at the right place, especially the angles.
Punjab Kings have won the toss and have opted to field
They've started to remove the main cover as well, only the pitch stays protected now.
Toss has to happen latest by 10:41 pm for a 5-over game. It means that we've less than two hours left for this annoying bit of rain to stop, the ground to be cleaned and readied for the match to start.
