The 18th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set to start from Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on March 22 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. But there’s one big risk of a wash out as the city currently faces heavy rainfall and thunderstorms.
Bad Weather Likely To Ruin KKR Vs RCB Match
According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), Kolkata is expected to experience thunderstorm and rain until March 22 due to anticyclonic circulation over the Bay of Bengal. Adding to these concerns Regional Meterological Centre in Kolkata has now issued an orange alert for several part of West Bengal from March 20 and March 22 which indicated severe weather conditions.
