The IPL Mega Auction is nearing and the franchises will be looking forward to retain their top players and decide which ones to let go off. All eyes will be on Royal Challengers Bengaluru who are still in search of their maiden title. Despite having marquee players like Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, Mohammed Siraj RCB has still not been able to claim the IPL Title. The team management would be now wanting a systematic and balanced team that can provide them the desired results.

Virat Kohli

The retention of India’s top batter Virat Kohli is definitely on RCB’s list. In IPL Kohli has only played with one franchise and that’s RCB, going further he has scored 8004 runs in 252 matches, this includes 8 centuries and 55 half-centuries. He has an average od 38.67 and a strike rate of 131.97.

Mohammed Siraj

RCB will be eyeing to retain their key pacer Siraj, the seam and bounce he bring in is very crucial to provide early breakthroughs. He has taken a total of 83 wickets for the franchise. Overall in IPL Siraj has 93 wickets at an average of 30.34.

A very young and promising player Anuj Rawat is likely to be retained by RCB. He has been in stellar form, in the recently concluded Delhi Premier League (DPL) he was among the top scorers. In 2022 he was picked by RCB in IPL Mega Auction 2022 since then he has been with the franchise and scored a total of 318 runs in 24 matches.

Glenn Maxwell

One of the most important catch is the Australian all-rounder Maxwell who has scored 1,266 runs in 52 matches for RCB. Even though his last season went off but RCB are likely to back him, as the Aussie all-rounder can do wonders for the team.
