IPL 2023: After the completion of the 70th league matches on Sunday, the picture of the Playoff is clear now. In the last league match Gujarat Titans, who were already qualified for Playoffs, poured the water on the dreams of Royal challengers Bangalore by defeating them with 6 wickets.
However, with GT’s victory, 5 times IPL champion Mumbai Indians, who registered a splendid victory against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the afternoon game, made it into the Playoffs.
Gujarat Titans (20 points), Chennai Super kings (17 points), Lucknow Supergiants (17 points), and Mumbai Indians (16 points) are the four teams who will be competing for the trophy.
Gujarat Vs Chennai (Qualifier)
Defending Champion Gujarat Titans and 4 times IPL winner Chennai Super kings will compete with each other in M. Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai in 1st qualifier match on May 23. The winner of the match will directly enter the Final and the losing side will have to face the winner of eliminator-1.
Lucknow Supergiant Vs Mumbai Indian (Eliminator-1)
LSG and MI will take on each other in the first eliminator match on May 24. the journey of the Losing side will end here. whereas, Winner will have to confront the loser of the Qualifier on May 26 to make it to the final.
The final of the IPL-2023 will be Played in Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 28.
