New Delhi: After returning from Bengaluru, where Delhi Capitals (DC)played against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on April 15, several DC’s players have reported items missing from their kits.
Delhi Capitals suffer huge lost
As per the media report a total of 16 bats, in addition to other equipment like shoes, pads, thigh pads and gloves, were missing. In which skipper David Warner lost 3 bats, two of the lost bats belonged to Mitchell Marsh, and three to Phil Salt, and five to Yash Dhull.
A few other players have lost shoes, gloves and other cricketing equipment. The bats of foreign players cost around a lakh rupees each.

Stolen in transit
The players noticed that their kit bags had been tempered on the day they received their kit bags in their respective rooms. The Delhi Capitals’ players then reported the matter franchise officials, who lodged a complaint about mass stealing from their kit bags.
“All of them were shocked when they heard that everyone had lost something or the other from their kit bags. This is the first time such an incident has happened and the matter was soon raised to the logistics department, police and later at the airport. The investigation is on,” a source in Delhi Capitals confirmed.

DC to face KKR
Notably, Delhi Capitals are at the bottom of the table with 5 losses in 5 matches. David Warner-led team will face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on April 20, Thursday.
