With his glittering fifty David Warner now has surpassed India and Mumbai Indians’ (MI) skipper Rohit Sharma to become the batter who has scored the most runs against the Kolkata-based franchise. The Aussie has notched up a staggering 1042 runs in 26 innings with an emphatic strike rate of 146.

The ‘hit-man’ is now placed on the second position with 1040 runs from 32 innings. He is followed by Shikhar Dhawan (850 runs) and the legendary Suresh Raina (829 runs) in the elite list.

Warner’s IPL career
The Australian southpaw Warner has shown immense consistency for Delhi Capitals, with now players were showing up the team he alone stood there and waged lone battles.
The ace opener has played 168 matches and has amassed 6166 runs at a decent average of 42.23. Moreover, he is currently the third-highest run-getter in the history of the league with four centuries and 59 half-centuries. Only Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan are ahead of him.
