Anthony Davis and the Lakers almost had their win against the Memphis Grizzlies shortchanged after the star forward was seen clutching his left shoulder in pain. The force he had been this season was absent from the court as he exited the game, causing alarm among fans. However, he returned to the court to finish strong with an impressive 40-point performance. Right after the game, JJ Redick tried to pacify those nervous fans. He portrayed the injury as a mere “stinger” and reduced alarmingly any long-term concern on fans’ minds.
Things take another turn in the battle of the Lakers when their division rivals, the Sacramento Kings, came calling. However just after 10 minutes, in the first quarter against his division rivals, Davis feels a discomfort in his shoulder again. He was whisked immediately to the locker room as he clutched on his shoulder and was kept there for evaluation.
