India and Pakistan have faced each other 13 times in the international cricket ground starting from their first match, where they clashed in the inaugural T20 World Cup in 2007 when the MS Dhoni-led team secured the win through bowl-out. So far, India has won ten matches against Pakistan, whereas Pakistan also won three matches against India. Recently, both the teams have taken two wins each out of the four matches played at Asia Cups and T20 World Cups.

Batting first, India managed to score 119 runs, with Rishabh Pant leading the way with 42 runs. Pakistan, needing 37 runs from the last five overs, faced mounting pressure from the Indian bowlers. Jasprit Bumrah was exceptional, taking 3 wickets for 14 runs, which helped India secure a thrilling win as Pakistan finished with 113 runs.
IND Vs PAK: T20 World Cup 2022 (Melbourne, Australia)
The clash between India and Pakistan at the 2022 World Cup hosted by Australia and New Zealand, and their match at the MCG was a cliff-hanger. One remembers this game for one of the all-time T20I innings. Pakistan batted first and managed 159 for 8 thanks to half-centuries by Shaan Masood and Iftikhar Ahmed. Chasing 182 for 7, India were first sent in. Virat Kohli was the mainstay with 60 runs for the Indian innings. Mohammad Rizwan went a long way with 71 runs for Pakistan; and a few vital lower-order overfflows by Mohammad Nawaz, Asif Ali, and Khushdil Shah ensured Pakistan registered a winning five-wicket victory.
IND Vs PAK, Asia Cup 2022 (UAE, Dubai)
India and Pakistan faced off in the group stage of the Asia Cup after a gap of over an year. The match was an intriguing low-scoring one where Pakistan was bowled out for a mere score of 147. Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled incredibly, picking up four for 26 in just four overs as Hardik Pandya and Arshdeep Singh backed him up magnificently. India were put on shaky ground when they lost three wickets for just 53 runs. Then, Ravindra Jadeja and Pandya batted responsibly, scoring 35 and an unbeaten 33 respectively, ending the match in favor of India two balls from the last one.
