India recently won the Asia Cup 2025 after defeating Pakistan and now the team will be gearing up for Test series against West Indies. The series is very special as this will be the first time in more than ten years that India will be playing home Test series without the two stars Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli as the duo retired from red-ball cricket in May 2025.
Shubman Gill will be leading the Indian contingent and the series is extremely crucial for India’s transition era. This will also be important as India is aiming to remain on the top for ICC World Test Championship (WTC) Cycle.
