India is playing the first Test against West Indies at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and the Indian Team is in stellar form. Shubman Gill and co. have got a great start with 4 wickets already down (at the time of writing) but one of the most lethal pace duo is of Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj, who have wrecked havoc on field.
Bowling first, India got a wicket quickly and shortly both the West Indies openers were back in the dugout in the opening hour. The wickets were shared between pacers Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah. But their was one wicket that stole the spotlight.

It was the dismissal by Jasprit Bumrah which gained attention, he bowled to left-hander John Campbell who only managed to scored eight runs and then he got dismissed. The bowl drew an edge but the on-field umpire rejected the plea and declared it as not out. Both Bumrah and Dhruv Jurel insisted Shubman Gill to take the DRS review and it was proved that there was a slight edge. After reviewing from multiple angles, the third umpire Paul Reiffel gave a decision in favour of India.

The West Indies are struggling to withstand India’s fiery team and with the wickets falling continuously it will get even more difficult to score a competitive total in the first innings.
