IND vs SA: Temba Bavuma on playing against Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma ahead of 1st ODI, says ‘It’s something that we will…’

India will be playing 1st ODI against South Africa on November 30 and star players Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will be seen in action.

As the Indian team is all set to host yet another series against South Africa, which is the ODI series taking place on November 30 at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Jharkhand. After wrapping up the two-match Test series where South Africa’s triumph in the Test series has broken the confidence of the Indian cricket team to a great extent after the low-scoring victory in Kolkata and the astonishing record 408-run defeat in Guwahati.

The South African skipper made a comment that showed his thinking, facing a powerhouse India team with its two flagbearers after getting rid of a young Test team still trying to make its mark, Bavuma said he was very much aware of how tough and rare this challenge could be.

“I think it’s exciting for the locals, having the two living legends come back and play on Indian soil for a while. There’s a different type of energy when those two big guys are around, so it’s something that we’ll really be looking forward to,” said the South African captain.

“Like with any other players, we’ll do our preparation around them and come up with whatever tactics we feel are necessary. We know the energy is going to be a bit different, but it’s an exciting one,” concluded Bavuma.

Both India and South Africa have played 94 matches in total out of which India has won 40 and South Africa has won 51. three matches were left with no result. It is clear that South Africa has been more dominant against India and the Men in Blue will be aiming to reduce the gap by winning the upcoming match.
