The five-match T20I series will be starting from December 9, Tuesday with the first T20I being held at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. The competition between the two teams has been neck-to-neck and while the Proteas won the Test series, the Men in Blue made a solid comeback and won the ODI series. Now the final leg of T20Is will be play and both the teams will be aiming to win the series with a solid margin.
For India one of the key player to watch out for will be pacer Jasprit Bumrah who will be making a return after being rested for the ODIs. Bumrah was the part of India’s Test squad and now he will be a part of the 20-over squad which will provide massive boost to India’s bowling lineup. In the Tests against South Africa, Bumrah picked eight wickets in two matches with an impressive average of 18.50.
Bumrah is now on the verge to achieve a big milestone as the Indian pacer is just one wicket away from achieving 100 wickets in T20Is. Currently, Arshdeep Singh is India’s top-wicket taker with 105 wickets with an average of 18.59 from 68 matches. In the T20I board internationally, Rashid Khan from Afghanistan leads the race with 182 wickets from 108 matches.

India will now be playing five-match T20I series against South Africa and the matches will be held at five different venues – Cuttack, Mullanpur, Dharamsala, Lucknow, and Ahmedabad.
