With Team India failing to seal the series in the 2nd ODI courtesy of an 8-wicket defeat against South Africa, KL Rahul and co. will be lookng to end the white ball series in a positive way.
Tony de Zorzi’s maiden ODI century against India helped the home side get level in the 3-match ODI series.
With Sai Sudharshan (62) continuing to impress in his debut ODI series for the Men in Blue, it was his efforts along with a resilient innings from KL Rahul (56) which took India to 211 against The Proteas on December 19.
The bowlers too didn’t perform as they would have hoped which eventually led to the series being tied after two games.
For the home side it will be a morale boosting victory which might see a shift in performance level in the 3rd ODI as well.
