The ball was so remarkable that even Virat Kohli, standing at the non-striker’s end, couldn’t hide his admiration. As Shubman Gill’s stumps went flying Abrar gestured towards the pavilion, signalling the end of batter’s innings.

The 5th match of ICC Champions Trophy 2025 was played between India and Pakistan. Mohammad Rizwan won the toss and elected to bowl first. Pakistan team scored 241 runs while batting first. The Indian team chased the target of 242 runs by 6 wickets. India’s bowlers set the tone early, with a disciplined effort that kept Pakistan on the back foot. Kuldeep Yadav’s brilliant spell in the final 10 overs, where he claimed three wickets, prevented Pakistan from accelerating and put India in control.
