India vs Pakistan match – As it happened
Opting to bat first, Pakistan was struggling to score runs and India’s lethal bowling lineup completely dismantled the Men in Green. It was Kuldeep Yadav who spun his way and took 3 crucial wickets. While batting, India started aggressively with opener Abhishek Sharma smashing 31 runs in just 13 balls followed by Suryakumar Yadav scoring 47 off 37 and Tilak Varma – 31 runs.
India refuses to shake hands with Pakistan
After the match ended, Suryakumar Yadav and Shivam Dube walked off the field without shaking hands with the Pakistani side. According to Mike Hesson, he and captain Salman Ali Agha even waited near the Indian area but nobody turned up.

Frustration builts, PCB reacts
Everyone was visibly frustrated and due to this reason Pakistan skipper Salman Ali Agha missed the post-match presentation. The controversy further aggravated when former Pakistani cricketers and head coach Mike Hesson showed their disappointment towards the whole on-field incident. After all this built-up, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has now lodged a protest complaining about the unsportsmanlike behaviour.
