The top batters for New Zealand in the first innings were Devon Conway (76) and Rachin Ravindra (65). When India came to bat in the second innings, it immediately received a shock as Rohit Sharma fell for a duck as he was bowled by Tim Southee.

The situation couldn’t get any worse for India, Glenn Philips bowled a length ball and trapped Yashasvi Jaiswal (30). He further went on to trap Rishabh Pant and dismissed him at a score of 18.

A lot of expectations were there from Sarfaraz Khan but Mitchell Santner drowned all of them and took his wicket at the score of 11. Santner further dismissed Ravichandran Ashwin (4).
