Matt Henry once again proved himself destructive as New Zealand has thrashed India, as Rohit Sharma and Co are all out on 46. Ravichandran Ashwin fell for a duck. Going into this stage of the match, Rishabh Pant just scored 20 runs and was dismissed by Matt Henry. In this regard, New Zealand quickly knocked over the Indian wickets to pack off India. Team India skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bat first in the first Test at Bengaluru. They have made two changes, with Sarfaraz Khan and Kuldeep Yadav coming in to replace Shubman Gill – being given a break due to stiffness in his neck – and Akash Deep.

Following which the last wickets also fell in succession as Kuldeep Yadav was dismissed by Matt Henry. This marked five-wickets for Matt Henry in the very first Test against India.

India’s Batting Collapse

The team India is badly struggling at the score of 46/9 and there’s no damage control that can be done as the batting order has completely collapsed. The New Zealand’s bowling attack came as a nightmare for the Indian team and completely dismantled it. From all the young players to experienced ones all of them failed to leave an impact. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rishabh Pant were the only batters to score a double digit score.

The big question is now that what will be India’s comeback plan, the bowlers have an extremely low score to defend. All eyes will be on Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav but India surely needs a miracle to recover and bounce back into the game.
