After opting to bat first, KL Rahul departed early for just 9 runs. However, India captain Rohit Sharma stayed on field for 39 balls and contributed with 53 runs to the team’s total. Playing a fierce innings, Sharma gave a strong start to the Indian side and he hit 4 fours and 3 maximums.
