Brydon Carse has emerged to be exceptionally skilled, his performance in the 2nd T20I was incredible as he performed with both bat and ball. Even though India won the match his three crucial wickets ensured that he kept all the Indian batters on their toes. Not just this his 31 runs with the bat added a valuable contribution in England’s total. With the IPL 2025 now approaching, he will be seen playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), who missed out on the title last time, would like to leave no stone unturned in this season of IPL. The Hyderabad team led by Pat Cummins lost to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the final last time, but this time the team is fully prepared. The team has completely changed after last year’s mega auction. England all-rounder Brydon Carse has entered the team this year, on whom Rs 1 crore has been spent.
Brydon Carse: Perfect All-Rounder
Brydon can prove to be a perfect foreign all-rounder for the team this season, who can perform well with both bat and ball for Cummins and company. He performed well in the second T20 match played against India in Chennai on Saturday. He first showed the power of his bat and played a quick innings of 31 runs in just 17 balls, which included three sixes and a four. Carse, who came to bat at number eight, performed better than captain Jos Buttler as well as other batsmen of the team. It was only on the basis of his innings that England’s score crossed 150.

A Huge Asset For SRH
Hyderabad’s team already has domestic all-rounders like Abhishek Sharma and Nitish Kumar Reddy, and with the arrival of Carse, the team has many more options. Carse’s performance can prove to be a boon for the team in this IPL season. He has good experience in T20 cricket, where he has also left his mark in tournaments like South Africa T20, The Hundred and Vitality Blast. In such a situation, it can be said that SRH has got a big fish for just Rs 1 crore.
