Was a yorker length ball that tailed in from middle, Rahul tried to play it across but got beaten on the inside edge to get hit on the back leg. UltraEdge shows a gap between bat and ball. Over to ball-tracking and it returns three reds - it would have gone onto crash into the leg-stump. A good cameo from Rahul.

Root to Axar, out Caught by Tom Banton at long-off!! Axar holes out! Smart piece of bowling from Root! He keeps this one a lot of air and bowls it well outside off, asking Axar to fetch it. He has to reach out and the ball is only turning away from him. He ends up toe-ending his lofted stroke to long-off. Banton stationed near the fence

Adil Rashid to Hardik Pandya, out Bowled!! That's a ripper to get rid of Hardik Pandya! Adil Rashid finishes with a 4-fer! He gets good inward drift on this one as he bowls it slow through the air and draws Hardik forward. He lunges to keep it out but the ball pitches and turns square to beat Hardik on the outside edge and crashes into middle and off. That's a leg-spinner's dream delivery. Shades of Sharne Warne in that one.

Adil Rashid to Shreyas Iyer, out Caught by Phil Salt!! A soft dismissal! Slow through the air and turning down leg, Shreyas Iyer could have left it alone but decides to glance. Only manages to get a thin edge. Phil Salt moves his gloves to his left and takes a sharp catch. A good knock from Shreyas Iyer nonetheless.

Shubman Gill perhaps gives it away a bit early as he kneels down on one knee to play the big sweep. Adil Rashid spots that and slips in the wrong 'un on a full length on off and gets the ball to dip and turn in nicely.

Mark Wood to Shubman Gill, FOUR, Shubman Gill is Ahmedabad ka Raja - the ruler of Ahmedabad. He has a Test hundred, T20I hundred and now an ODI hundred as well here. Add the IPL hundred too to that list! This is an outstanding innings. The ball was seaming and swinging at the start. He took his time but more imortantly got into great positions to negotiate that phase and once he got past that he showed why he rules this venue! Teammates and fans rise to applaud his 7th ODI hundred
