The opening ODI between India and Australia was disrupted by rain and it denied India catch the real momentum. The inconsistent play resulted in many halts and limited the visitors to just 136/9 in 26 overs, this impacted their chances to bounce back in the game. Australia has already taken 1-0 lead and the next ODI in Adelaide is extremely crucial to win if India wants to keep their series win hopes running.
The weather will also play a very important role in the second ODI and it still shows that light showers are expected on the eve of the match but the conditions on Thursday look a little better.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma do intense training
Rohit Sharma was the first one to enter the nets and he specifically worked on countering back-of-length deliveries that had troubled him in Perth, where Josh Hazelwood also dismissed him. He even spent time discussing adjustments with Shubman Gill and received technical feedback.
Virat Kohli was also out for a duck in Perth against Mitchell Starc in the first ODI. He then did an intense training session for 45 minutes and the report further added that he requested India’s throwdown specialists to “go full throttle” in order to find back is rhythm.
