So it was at the MCG in the fourth Test, when a brief but heated confrontation between debutant Sam Konstas and Virat Kohli added to the drama of the contest.

In the 10th over of Australia’s innings, when Virat Kohli walked past Sam Konstas, their shoulders touched each other lightly. This contact seemed minor, but Konstas was in an obvious state of anger, immediately going to confront the Indian star. Tension sparked between Virat Kohli and Sam Konstas, and the on-field umpires quickly stepped in to prevent things from boiling over.

Sam Konstas: The New Debutant For Australia
The 19-year-old showed his talent with a rapid half-century of just 52 balls which showcased his potential in the very first Test match that he played. His aggressive knock was one of the highlights of the day and it was not only about his on-field skills, but also his character was well on display.
At only 19 years and 85 days old, he is the fourth-youngest player to make a Test debut for Australia. He was handed the baggy green cap by former Australian captain Mark Taylor to make his mark in cricketing history.
