Travis Head made a misleading claim during a press conference, stating that he had congratulated Mohammed Siraj by saying “well bowled” after the Indian pacer dismissed him. In reality, Head had used abusive language toward Siraj after receiving a fiery send-off on Day 2 of the second Test at Adelaide Oval. On Day 3, Siraj responded to the incident in a conversation with Harbhajan Singh, criticizing Head for his false statement. For the record, Head played a brilliant knock of 140 runs off 141 balls, including 17 fours and 4 sixes, helping Australia reach a total of 377.

His statement was not right as we don’t disrespect anyone infact we respect our opponents. My reaction to his dismissal was because of the words he used,” said Siraj
