Australia have added Marnus Labuschagne for the upcoming ODI series against India which will be starting from Sunday in Perth, Australia. This decision has been taken because Cameron Green was sidelined due to side strain which has initially ruled him out of the squad. Labuschagne is a good addition as he comes with strong form and performed exceptionally well in the domestic circuit which earned him surprise call back into the squad.
As far as Cameron Green is concerned his injury has come out to be a low-grade strain and with Ashes just six weeks away, Australian management is not willing to take any risk and stay cautious. The decision to rest is a precaution which ensures that he remains available for the series against England.
